New York, Niagara and Toronto

Booking an adventurous holiday is exciting. But it can also be a headache – actually, and proverbially. For instance, where do you want to go? How best is it to get there? How cost effective can you make it? What about transfers from the airport? Where do you catch the train from? Oh yes – and what are the best hotels to stay in? All these questions, and many more. Hour after hour, surfing the internet for answers and guidance. Well, that is, unless you seek advice from a professional. That’s exactly what my regular customers Peter and Kim did and they were so happy with their most recent adventure they wrote this blog and sent it to me to share on my website.

“To borrow the title of a Tina Turner song, Angela is simply the best. As she proved on a recent adventure enjoyed by us. An adventure with potential pitfalls, but made so straightforward and enjoyable by Angela’s hard work and attention to detail. Our adventure took us from Heathrow to New York, on to Niagara Falls by train, then to Toronto, and finally back to Heathrow. Thrown into the mix was the desire to do some serious sight-seeing, but no worries, Angela was on the case. Sure, it’s not rocket science to book a flight. Or a train ticket. But Angela makes sure no stone is unturned, as I’ll explain shortly.

For starters, Angela sorted out our outward flight, and the return. And at this point I should point out that a week before we were due to go, the British Airways pilots announced they would be on strike the day of our return. The flight was cancelled, but there was no need to panic: Angela was already on the case. It meant a delayed return of one day, but Angela sorted us out an extra night’s accommodation (with Travel Counsellors paying half as a gesture of goodwill, which was awesome), AND organised us a flight home the following day. That was amazing service. But from the moment we first decided on this adventure, Angela was our guiding light all the way through. She organised our transfer from JFK Airport to our hotel, but even better than that, she booked us a hotel that was literally across the road from Penn Station, where we’d be catching our onward AmTrak train to Niagara five days later.

While we were in New York, we told Angela we’d like to do the ‘Hop-On, Hop-Off’ bus experience around the city. She organised our ticket. We told her we wanted to see Central Park. She organised us a horse and carriage ride around its grounds. We wanted to go up the Top of the Rock, and have dinner in the famous revolving The View restaurant, that gives you awesome views of the Big Apple. No problem: Angela booked it. Her organisation was seamless, and what’s more, she sat down with us before we headed off, and went through everything day by day. And gave us a map of New York to help us on our way.

Niagara was straightforward and Angela booked us a decent hotel, with a view of the iconic Falls from our room, and sorted out our AmTrak onward travel to Toronto. Again, she organised an awesome hotel, literally across the road from the railway station, making life so simple for us on our arrival in the Canadian city. One of Toronto’s most famous landmarks is the CN Tower, and like The View in New York, there is a revolving restaurant - The 360 - with fantastic views of the city, which I happened to point out I’d like to do. No worries: Angela organised that for us.

With Angela’s help and hard work, we had an amazing holiday. Busy, but extremely well organised, which, made life so much easier to see all we wanted to in New York in particular.

Take the second ‘a’ out of Angela’s name and you’ll aptly describe her: an angel. Booking a holiday with Angela is a pleasure. I trust her absolutely implicitly, and professionally she has my utmost respect, which, for me, has to be earned and deserved. She won my respect within one booking experience.

So if you’re looking for a stress free way to book a holiday, without the fear of proverbial or actual headaches while you’re doing so, there is only one thing I can recommend: call Angela Reasbeck. She’s awesome. It’s her all the way for us. And she’s already sorting out our next adventure!”
