Sailing daily from Bergen up through the Arctic Circle to Kirkenes and back, Hurtigruten's fleet of 12 modestly-sized ships are capable of getting much closer to the coastline and communities living at the 34 ports we visit. With the smaller size comes a more intimate experience and unique opportunity to get an authentic glimpse into Norwegian culture. Experience the four different seasons with the chance to see the Northern Lights in the winter, the Midnight Sun in the summer, the Arctic awakening in spring and the magnificent autumn golds in autumn. For the more adventurous, Hurtigruten also sail to some of the world’s most remote places such as Spitsbergen, Greenland, Iceland, Northern Canada, South America and Antarctica. On these sailings are Hurtigruten's own expeditions team and the opportunity for daily landings, as well as a variety of optional and pre-bookable excursions on all itineraries.
