Before becoming a Travel Counsellor in September 2016 I worked for various travel companies selling a large range of holidays including Europe and Worldwide, Cruise and Luxury Destinations. Travel has been a big part of my life since I left school and I am passionate about what I do.
I have been in the Travel Industry for over 30 years and have been lucky to have travelled to many places including Spain, Greece, Cyprus, United States of America including Orlando and New York, Thailand, Cuba, Bermuda plus various city breaks including Krakow and have been on a River Cruise plus I have been on various ship visits for all the Cruise lines,
I specialise In Long Haul and Luxury holidays, for example all over the USA, Florida, Indian Ocean , Dubai , Caribbean , Far East and any other Worldwide destination , I have the best prices with my suppliers for these and can also help with packages, cruises plus cruise and stays, weddings, honeymoons, group bookings including Stag and Hen breaks , city breaks, UK breaks, coach holidays and much more.,
I have attended a lot of training events through the years where I have met hotel managers from all over the world with the suppliers and have gained knowledge from this for different destinations

Anne has just booked one of my bucket list holidays for myself and son. We went to Dubai and stayed in Atlantis, moved onto Bangkok and then Thomas went onto Japan and I went to Phuket on My own. The hotels where all 5 star and amazing. Having to have so many flights it was seamless Anne checked in on all our flights. The transports where fantastic and everything in our holiday pack she put together all worked without fault. I had to change the holiday and cancel and person and Anne was super supportive and made everything all happen. She was at hand when we where away and even helped with one issue we had in our third hotel. She has amazing customer service and I would highly recommend her expertise and friendly service. Anne is brilliant at what she does and is the consummate professional. I will not book my holidays through anyone else and tell all my friends about her too. Anne was wonderful yet again. This is the second time if booked a holiday with her and I wouldn’t hesitate again. She goes above and beyond with every detail. She was regularly in touch with us to check if we needed anything. We were treated like VIPs by the hotel manager. In a room which had recently been refurbished and had a fab position and views. We had a slight niggle with the air con and were offered a fan, a change of room (which we gratefully declined) and got given even more fizz and treats for the room, plus credit to spend on upgraded drinks. Anne is a real superstar and I’m my opinion, you’d be stupid not to book through her. Thank you for everything Anne ??

I have booked a number of holidays with Anne now.. I cannot recommend her enough, I had no hesitation in booking with her again for our sons wedding in Bali.
Guests who were invited to the wedding also booked through Anne.
She was so knowledgeable about the the visas and what was required as we went via Singapore.
The second part of our stay in Bali we had a problem with our room. We tried to sort the problem ourselves with the hotel but the hotel was saying that they couldn’t do anything. We then emailed Anne who went straight to the supplier and the hotel and the matter was solved straight away.

Booking a holiday can be a daunting thing if you're not used to it or not confident with booking online. There's so much more to consider now in terms of things like adding bags, booking seats, checking in on a certain date etc. Using Anne to book our family holiday means we can be happy knowing everything is taken care of and if there is any problems we have the confidence knowing we can speak to Anne, in person, who will pick things up for us. This is the real differentiator for us.

I was recommended by a friend to get in touch with Anne, As I was struggling to find a holiday within my budget . For an August getaway. I phoned Anne and told her my budget, what countries I'd be interested in going to. Plus it had to be close to the beach and a short coach transfer.
Within 24 hours Anne found me 4 holidays that I'd be interested in and ticked all the boxes I asked for. I picked a Gran Canaria holiday as we've never been there before. The holiday was everything I hoped for. Very clean, friendly staff, great location.
Anne made all.the arrangements, booked the holiday, sorted our plane seats, coach transfer, printed all the documents and hand delivered them . She did absolutely everything which took away a lot of the stress. To give us extra peace of mind we could contact her 24/7 . Anne even texted us in our first day of arrival to make sure everything was OK.
I can't thank Anne enough for all the help and stress free holiday she gave us.

You may find the same holiday a bit less expensive when you book direct but booking with Anne takes away all the stresses and provides you with a lot of assurance, particularly in the current climate with a lot of uncertainty about travelling etc. Anne is there for you if you have any issues and will deal with everything for you which for me is what you want if something goes wrong with your holiday or it gets cancelled etc. Anne also takes care of booking you in for flights, again this is something that can be time consuming and tricky if you're not used to doing it or not confident with computers. If you book with Anne I don't think you'd be disappointed!

Just wanted to let you how much you helped us with our recent holiday to Las Vegas, LA and a Princess cruise to the Mexican Riviera.
You were there for us every step of the way, from the beginning to the end.

Anyone thinking of booking a late holiday or an early one for next year then look no further than Anne Mara travel counsellors nothing is yo much trouble for her and without her this year I would of lost my £1'000 flights I booked with easy jet they wasnt given any refunds and it was only down to the fact I booked with Anne and she fought for my refund I wouldn't of got a penny back I've been booking with Anne for 12 years now and never had a problem with her she goes that extra mile to make sure everything is perfect so I can highly recommend Anne Mara travel counsellors just give her a try she will look after you given you peace of mind from the time she takes you on board .

was recommended to contact Anne to look at some holiday options for me and I can honestly say I have never looked back. Life is pretty hectic for us all and going on holiday is meant to be a break, opportunity to de-stress etc and frantically searching for flights, hotels, transfers and whatever else just isn’t that relaxing. I spoke with Anne told her what I was looking for and like a magician she went away and came back with options galore!
Once I had chosen my options I had a 121 service and every possible question I could think of Anne answered extremely quickly. The service and support did not end there, even when on holiday I got a message to check everything was ok and in order and reminded me that she was at the end of the phone if needed. That special touch along with the knowledge I was totally supported if I needed it has meant that I will no longer book thorough anyone or anywhere else. The rooms were very spacious, bright and clean. The facilities in the rooms were Fabulous including the bathroom. The location could not have been better. I booked a special birthday trip with Anne. From start to finish I could not have asked for more. Anne was amazing right the way through, she was always there to answer questions, sort and issues and make sure I had everything covered. Anne continually looked after everything you could possibly think of. She is very attentive, quick to respond and goes the extra mile. Amazing!

Would like to thank Anne for everything that she did booking our holiday to Dubai! I was totally at ease booking with Anne! she dealt with everything from hotel flights and transfers! Anne found me a better deal than online and even got me a upgraded room to a super deluxe! Was more like a suite it was that big! For no extra cost! With a beautiful sea and pool view! The hotel was unreal! and I even got a birthday cake in my room as it was my 30th Anne had told the hotel! She thought of everything! Anne was recommended to me by a family member and she did not disappoint! I approached her with my request for a trip for 4 to Vegas to celebrate our husbands 40th birthdays, I simply provided her the basic details of what we were looking for and she did the rest. Anne was very helpful from the outset. We explained exactly what it was we where after and she came back with some great choices. Although the hotel we originally wanted turned out to be fully booked, Anne found a great alternative in a short space of time. We had all the information, tickets and documents we needed together without having to worry whether we had everything. She even came to our house to hand deliver and discussed in person all the details and was on hand to answer any questions we had. We would fully recommend using Anne for booking your holiday because she takes the stress away, which allows you to concentrate on being excited. Anne thanks so much for booking Prague for us it really was amazing! We had the driver waiting for us in the airport, so we didn’t have to wait. He then drove us to our hotel which was a great location. The hotel was perfect!!! Then when leaving Prague the driver was already in the hotel lobby waiting to pick us up we didn’t have to wait for a thing!! And fortunately we didn’t encounter no problems but if we had have done I would only have had to text Anne and she would have sorted it!! No problem at all thanks Anne x xx

I cannot thank Anne enough for organising the most amazing trip to New York with my husband and 2 children. Nothing was ever too much trouble I was able to make contact with Anne at any time and she responded straight away. Anne organised everything from start to finish the extra touches of making sure we were seated together on the plane (at no extra cost!) and making contact with the Sheraton Time Square Hotel (fab hotel for families) to make sure everything was in order for our arrival. It took away all the stress, everything went to plan and there was no airport or hotel dramas! So if you're planning a trip I can't recommend Anne enough she is amazing at her job! Thank you Anne

Well what can I say... we had the most amazing holiday in Crete organised by Anne. The hotel was gorgeous and well described. It suited our family to a tee!!! It was well worth the money and nothing was too much for the staff at Elounda residence and water park....
Anne is one of the most helpful travel Counsellors around, she goes out of her way to help, guide and get to know you personally and what you want... and is an absolute expert at places to go and see whilst abroad... nothings too much and no matter what time you text, call or email her she’s always available. I called her at 2am with a query about our hotel and she replied instantly...

I wanted to thank you for the great service you have given myself and my friend with regards to arranging our 2 night stay at the Clayton Hotel in Belfast for the weekend.
The hotel was located centrally and everything was in walking distance. We couldn't fault the hotel in anyway for the excellent service provided.
From start to finish you have been very attentive on making the arrangements for us and even the little touches like bringing the hotel voucher directly to us and the little card waiting for us on arrival at the hotel.
You are very approachable and nothing is too much trouble to you in finding the information as required for our 2 night stay.
We can't thank you enough for the excellent service you have given us and I would certainly recommend you to my friends and family for their future holidays and weekend breaks. We will certainly be in touch in the future for our next trip away.

What a fabulous time we all had in Kraków for my friends hen party. Cocktail making, bar crawls and a beginners guide of what to do and where to go when we get there we had the best time. We recently had a wonderful holiday in Barcelona all thanks to Anne. We stayed in the Hilton Diagonal Mar which was a ten minute walk from the beach and close to a metro for all of the sights, we had a brilliant time. If anybody is thinking of booking Barcelona I highly recommend the hotel we stayed at. Staff are so friendly and helpful and it's in a great location. The largest shopping centre in Barcelona is opposite the hotel too. Placa Reial is great for eating and this is just off La Ramblam, contact Anne to ge tit booked!

I would just like to say a huge thank you to Anne!! I just came home from a break away in London to see Ed Sheeran at the 02, brilliant from start to finish.
Not only did Anne manage to get us tickets plus accommodation but when we received them we were in a VIP box..so happy!! Thanks so much to Anne for booking a weekend trip for us to Vienna. This was a Christmas present from my sister and I to our mum and we had a great time. Anne sorted the flights, transfers and hotel and would recommend her to anyone. She makes the whole holiday experience so easy and enjoyable and ensured a brilliant stay whilst in Vienna. This was our first time booking through Travel Counsellors and everything went perfect. We booked a family holiday (2 adults 2 children, 8 and 11 years old) to Salou and having never been before we didn't know where the best place was to stay. Anne asked questions to establish what it was we were looking for from the holiday and made suggestions on the hotels and location. One hotel she suggested sounded perfect for our needs and this didn't disappoint in any way. From the moment I got in touch with Anne everything was organised for us and she kept in touch with us to advise us of what was happening in respect of flight times etc. Anne even emailed the hotel with our requirements which was fully met on arrival. She provided her contact details in case there was any issues when we got there which was in addition to the Thomas Cook rep we had at our disposal in the hotel - thankfully we didn't need the assistance of either when we got there as everything was as we wanted. But having this contact provided reassurance.
Without Anne advising us we wouldn't have known where to stay and anything we did on our own would have been more of a gamble. As I said we'd never used Travel Counsellors before but nothing was too much trouble and I'd highly recommend using Anne to anybody wanting to book a trip.
